What this will not do
- The corners do the work. A fence is only as good as its braced ends, and skimping there is why fences sag. Everything between corners is just holding wire off the ground.
- Deer need 8 ft, or two shorter fences 4–6 ft apart — they jump high and far but not both at once. Flag any wire fence or they'll run through what they can't see.
- Put a voltage monitor at the far end of any electric fence, not at the charger. The far end is where it tells you the truth.
